Published

on

Always-On Display (AOD) is a feature that allows users to customize your phone’s lock screen to show time, date, battery status, notifications, and more while the screen is off.

With EMUI 11, Huawei introduced various new artistic AOD themes for the users and at Huawei Mate 40 series launch, Huawei introduced new Eyes on Display (EoD).

The EOD could be limited to some of the phones, which leverages the 3D Depth Sensing Camera and Gesture Sensor to detect the user’s attention. With a just glance, users can light up the screen and triggers the AOD animation.

It’s yet to confirm, whether this feature will rollout for Huawei Mate 30 series and P40 series smartphones.
