EMUI 11 beta recruitment now begins for these 8 Huawei and Honor devices

Huawei has begun sending stable EMUI 11 update for the Huawei P40 and Mate 30 series devices. The company is also working to expand the reach of this update to more markets as soon as possible.

In the meantime, Huawei is recruiting more smartphone users to test the latest EMUI and Magic UI version in China. The owners of the below listed Huawei and Honor devices will be receiving EMUI 11 and Magic UI 4 beta builds following the acceptance of their application.

Some of these devices are available on the global markets and there’s nothing confirmed for the time being about the exact date of release outside of China.

According to the information, EMUI 11 beta for these devices brings improved multi-window mode, smoother animations, super notepad, and more.

EMUI 11 BETA: Models and required versions

Selected Huawei Models:

  1. Huawei Nova 5 Pro
  2. Huawei Tablet M6 (8.4 inches)
  3. Huawei Tablet M6 (10.8 inches)
  4. Huawei Tablet M6 Turbo Edition

Required EMUI 10.1 versions:

  1. Huawei Nova 5 Pro – EMUI 10.1.0.166
  2. Huawei Tablet M6 (8.4 inches) – EMUI 10.1.0.170/171
  3. Huawei Tablet M6 (10.8 inches) – EMUI 10.1.0.165
  4. Huawei Tablet M6 Turbo Edition – EMUI 10.1.0.170/171

Selected Honor Models:

  1. Honor 20
  2. Honor 20 Pro
  3. Honor V20
  4. Honor Magic 2

Required versions:

  1. Honor 20 – EMUI 10.1.0.168
  2. Honor 20 Pro – EMUI 10.1.0.168
  3. Honor V20 – EMUI 10.1.0.168
  4. Honor Magic 2 – EMUI 10.1.0.164

EMUI 11 Beta testing Slots:

200 users on each model with log version and 1800 users without log version.

Recruitment time:

From 9 November to 18 November 2020

Note:

  1. This recruitment is related to the Chinese models of Huawei and Honor
  2. Global rollouts will start at a different date
