[Global] EMUI 10 for Huawei P20, Mate 10 Series in delayed to June

Huawei has delayed the rollout of EMUI 10 for Huawei P20, P20 Pro, Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 RS Porsche Design (Unlocked Models) to the end of June/mid-June/Early-June globally including the following regions:

Rollout time of EMUI 10 for Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series in different regions.

• West Europe – Mid-June 2020
• Northeast Europe – Mid-June
• Russian and Central Asia – End of June
• Middle East and Africa – Early June
• Latin America – End of June
• Asia Pacific – Mid-June
• Canada – Mid-June
• Japan – Early June

Original Story:

A week ago, Huawei started to distribute EMUI 10 for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in Malaysia and a few other Southeast Asian Countries. On the other hand, the devices that are left untouched comes from Europe, and yet again Huawei delayed the rollout date of EMUI 10.0 for the users of P20 and Mate 10 devices in European markets.

According to an announcement made by Huawei, Huawei P20, and Mate 10 devices now scheduled to receive EMUI 10 in the “Middle of June 2020“. This rollout date previously slated for May 2020. (reports RPRNA)

Huawei phones that’ll receive EMUI 10 in Mid-June:

• Huawei Mate 10
• Huawei Mate 10 Pro
• Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design
• Huawei P20
• Huawei P20 Pro

And the fact is that this rollout time is for “Unlocked Phones”, while the carrier-locked phones may have to wait a little more. This is due to the process of checking the software build, and it may vary among mobile carriers.

1. Open Settings
2. Click on System
3. Click on Software update
4. Click on CHECK FOR UPDATES
5. Click on Download and install

Via Support app:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
