EMUI 10.1 beta recruitment kicks off for Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs

Earlier this month, Huawei has promised to start an EMUI 10.1 internal beta recruitment for Huawei Mate X and Xs users in China By the end of April. Since we’ve reached the end of April, Huawei has finally begun to register users for the internal beta activity of these two foldable devices.

Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs users can now register for the EMUI 10.1 beta in China.

EMUI 10.1 brings MeeTime communication feature, Multi-screen collaboration, Huawei share, OneHope sharing, Cast+ wireless projection, Sound booster, new gallery feature, Celia voice assistant, new AOD theme, multi-window mode and more.

Timeline:

The registrations will be open from April 29 to May 14, 2020. Registration requires a total of 500 testers for the log version and 1500 for a non-log version update.

Following the registrations, Huawei will soon push the testing version of EMUI 10.1 to this device.

Huawei Mate X:
TAH-AN00

Huawei Mate Xs:
TAH-AN00m

EMUI Version Requirements:

Huawei Mate X and Mate Xs required to be updated on the EMUI version 10.0.1.123 and 10.0.1.136 respectively to receive EMUI 10.1.

Users can check their build version by going into Settings > System.
