EMUI 10.1 beta for Huawei Mate Xs and Mate X will kick off in late-April

Huawei’s foldable phone – Huawei Mate X 5G was initially launched last year but remained exclusive to the Chinese market. This foldable phone comes with EMUI 9.1 and recently upgraded to the EMUI 10.0.

Following the Huawei Mate X, comes its successor – Huawei Mate Xs 5G. This new foldable phone offers various new improvements and unlike its predecessor, Mate Xs available to purchase outside of the Chinese territory. Huawei Mate Xs comes pre-installed with EMUI 10.0.

Since both of these phones runs EMUI 10.0 and both are super expensive, Huawei has announced that these two foldable phones will upgrade to the latest – EMUI 10.1 version update.

According to the information, EMUI 10.1 internal beta program for Huawei Mate Xs 5G and Huawei Mate x 5G will start in late April in China.

The EMUI 10.1 brings MeeTime communication feature, Multi-screen collaboration, Huawei share, OneHope sharing, Cast+ wireless projection, sound booster, new gallery feature, Celia voice assistant, new AOD theme, multi-window mode and more.

EMUI 10.1 Beta process:

According to our information, after the internal beta (limited testers), Huawei will open the public beta test (more testers) and then roll out the stable OTA.
