Under the latest development, EMUI 10.1 for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro is now started expanding in the markets in North Africa and the Middle East. However, this major software release will circulate gradually among users.

Also, it’s recommended that users check for the update via the Support App.

The EMUI 10.1 brings new Fingerprint animations, colorful AOD, multi-window multitasking, Multi-device collaboration, multi-device browsing, Huawei assistant, and more. (Full changelog detailed below)

EMUI 10.1 for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro in North Africa and the Middle East comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.126 and package sizes of over 4.5GB.

EMUI 10.1 CHANGELOG:

This update introduces EMUI 10.1, designed to deliver a finer-tuned user experience with a higher performance and more secure system. This operating system, based on distributed technologies, enables you to seamlessly interact across devices and enjoy a diverse range of practical features, including mobile office, in different scenarios. Install this update to facilitate a more intelligent lifestyle.

QUALITY USER INTERFACE:

Always On Display: (Colorful)

Allows Always on Display clock style to change the color dynamically based on the time of the day. You can also download extra AOD themes. Go to Settings> Home screen & wallpaper> Always On Display to try it out.

Fingerprint animation:

Adds three fingerprint unlock animation options. Go to Settings> Biometrics & password> Fingerprint ID, input your lock screen password as required, then touch Fingerprint animation to select your preferred option.

Multi-Window:

Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter a split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.

EMUI 12 Roadmap for Middle East [September 2022]

Huawei is rolling out stable EMUI 12 software updates for its smartphone devices, which are capable to pursue the latest EMUI version. According to the information, the company is trying to cover all possible devices under the umbrella of EMUI 12 including the Middle East region.

In this segment, Huawei has revealed the EMUI 12 official roadmap for the Middle East region that brings us information regarding the eligible devices, rollout start date, and current status of devices.

In January, Huawei began the rollout of stable EMUI 12 for flagship devices followed by prominent smartphones. So far, Huawei has upgraded Mate Xs, P40 Pro+, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, Nova 7, P40 lite 5G, P40, Mate 20 X 5G, nova 7, and Mate 20 X.

Meanwhile, the company is still pushing EMUI 12 for P40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro 5G, Nova 7i, P40 Lite, P30, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 Rs Porche Design, P30 Pro, and Nova 5T smartphones along with P30 Lite, P40 Lite models and more.

Speaking about EMUI 12, this EMUI software version is fully inspired by HarmonyOS 2.0 system. It brings a fresh user interface, new animation effects, Device+ to connect multiple devices at the same time, Huawei Share for fast file transfer, and much more.
