Honor has released a new software update for the Honor View10/V10 users, which brings Huawei Assistant and security patches released in July 2020. Now, let’s come to the topic, which is the software update size of 4.11GB and it’s quite huge for the things that it actually brings.

Just recently, Huawei P20 Pro also received a new software update with a size of over 4GB. However, we hope that Huawei and Honor will do something about their update rollout.

Update Changelog:

Huawei Assistant:

Adds Huawei Assistant to the home screen, providing smart reminders, personalized news, and other content relevant to you.

Security:

Integrates Android security patches released in July 2020 for improved system security.

VERSION:

Honor View10 receiving these latest improvements with a large package size of 4.11GB and EMUI 10 version 10.0.0.182. It’s possible that all of the users across the globe may receive the same package size.
