Huawei P40 series receiving August EMUI security update in the UK

Last week, Huawei begin to roll out the August 2020 security update for the Huawei P40 series in Europe, which now has reached to these flagship series owners in the UK.

Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus device in the UK now receiving new Android security patches released in August 2020.

The August 2020 security update from Huawei fixes different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 21 high levels of CVEs.

August 2020 security update for Huawei P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro Plus in the UK comes with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.0.154 upgrading from EMUI 10.1.0.147. The update package size is 283MB.
