This month, Oppo could launch Android 14-based ColorOS 14 software and a leak reveals that this new software will bring Huawei HarmonyOS inspired all-in-one clipboard feature, SuperHub.

According to tipster DigitalChatStation, the new ColorOS 14 will bring a new file transfer sidebar feature. However, the tipster has not released any information about the details but we got the point here.

The SuperHub feature on the HarmonyOS operating system is a brand-new innovation. It is not available on any other smartphone at the moment. Coming to its capabilities, the SuperHub works as a clipboard but not for text.

Huawei SuperHub can store text and images from different apps and keep them there temporarily. You can then drag the stored file out of the sidebar, whenever you require access to them with just a tap.

The feature is quite popular in Huawei smartphones with HarmonyOS and it recently launched for global users with EMUI 13 release.

Although, Oppo has not made it clear but after the copying large folder feature. Huawei’s Chinese counterparts are now on a mission to rip off another HarmonyOS function.

Since this SuperHub is designed with compatibility for HarmonyOS, we would like to see how it’s integrated into ColorOS 14. Also, ColorOS heavily influences OxygenOS and its OnePlus’ 14th edition software may also follow the same steps to adopt this feature.

The launch of these two software adaptations has not been announced but it’s very likely to happen somewhere in August.
