Yes! Huawei has started EMUI 12 beta testing, it’s quite a surprise from the Chinese tech maker and an anticipated announcement that Huawei smartphone consumers in the global market have been waiting for.

Currently, the EMUI 12 beta testing project is limited to some markets including East Asia and Russia. Meanwhile, we’ve noticed that Huawei P40 series and Mate 30 series models could participate in the EMUI 12 Beta testing.

According to the information, the registration for some of the EMUI 12 projects has been cast from November 8 to late December. During this timeline, you can sign for the beta testing and register your interest through the beta application.

It is noted, that the testing program is in the early stages and will expand gradually in different markets for various models. We’re also looking forward to when Huawei actually opens the beta activity for European users.

According to the information, Huawei has announced to rollout of EMUI 12 for various devices beginning from the first half of 2022. The list of eligible EMUI 12 devices includes old ones that haven’t been upgraded with EMUI 11 such as Huawei Y9 Prime and more.
