‘Better than Tesla Model S’ Huawei confirms new Chery EV launch in November

During the Autumn 2023 flagship product launch conference, Huawei Chairman of Smart Car Business, Yu Chengdong announced that Huawei will launch its first collaborative car with China’s Chery automobile, and it’s better than the Tesla Model S.

Comparison is the key to compete in the market and Tesla EVs are quite popular in the world. But Huawei is catching up with all of its competitors and helping partners to build better cars.

The new Luxeed S7, a coupe-like electric vehicle (EV), will be based on Chery’s E0X platform. It has been designed for two-motor all-wheel-drive EVs, according to information published in August on the website of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

“The car will make its debut in late November. It will be superior to Tesla’s Model S in various aspects,” said Yu Chengdong.

However, the head of Huawei smart car solution revealed no information about the price of this upcoming sedan.

There’s plenty of information available about the Huawei Luxeed S7 EV and we will have to wait to find out whether it’s better than the Tesla Model S.
