April 2024 EMUI update making its way to Huawei P40 Pro users

April 2024 EMUI update has now started approaching Huawei P40 Pro smartphone users with tons of benefits for the security system. The tech giant has posted the newest safety fixes and improvements that can enrich the phone’s current health.

While P40 Pro device owners might have expected the May 2024 security patch on their doorsteps, the company is still expanding last month’s improvement package.

The delay seems a matter of the EMUI 14 beta rollout which is in the gradual process for the top flagship models and will reach more eligible devices in the coming days. Till then, the OEM continues to serve the newest refinements to its handsets.

Huawei P40 Pro is receiving the April 2024 update with the EMUI build number 12.0.0.386 and a downloadable package of 371 MB. Ensure the baseline version is 12.0.0.370 to prevent compatibility issues during the installation.

The changelog counts only the April 2024 security patch. But it is the most needed firmware for the P40 Pro users at the time being as it wipes out all hidden bugs from the device system and patches voids that may act as a gateway for malware.
