According to the information, Honor Play 3 smartphone’s April 2022 update is rolling out with, which is updated from Magic UI version Therefore, we recommend you update as soon as possible to get the best out of your device.

Aside from system security, the latest update doesn’t bring any other additional features or changes. Well, the April 2022 security patch fixes for common vulnerabilities including 1 CVE in the framework, 1 CVE in Kernel, 1 CVE in the system, 7 CVEs in applications, and 39 CVEs were resolved in third-party libraries.

How to get the updates?

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the My Huawei app. To do this, open the My Huawei app, go to the Support tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
