The world of display is moving and it seems Apple wants to achieve a new milestone in this segment with a “0” bezel display iPhone, says the latest input on this matter.

Tipster IceUniverse said that Apple is working on a full-view screen with no bezels at all. The iPhone is currently in talks with South Korea’s Samsung and LG display units to develop an OLED panel without corners.

The demand also includes UPC or Under Panel Camera to make the screen look like a piece of glass. Under panel camera (UPC) means a camera installed under a display panel, a technology used for a smartphone or a tablet PC with a front-facing camera under its display panel.

Currently, there are no phones that is using such caliber of perfection as the notch is currently underway to get the full screen. Also, the bezels are required to stick the display on the frame.

For now, Apple might be doing research on the next generation of 0 bezel iPhone screens, which requires some of the test panels. The production of such a display type remains unknown at the moment, as this is an input coming from a third-party source.

Back in March, the tipster also reported the upcoming thinnest Bezels on the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max. The tipster wrote that the device will break the record of 1.81mm bezel black edge held by Xiaomi 13, which measures only 1.55 mm (S22 and S23 at 1.95mm, iPhone 14 Pro at 2.17mm).

Compared to this, Huawei is also using a narrow edge screen but with unique designs such as a quad curve display, it has achieved a different height in the division. The budget-friendly Huawei Nova 11i set an example of low bezels, which measure 1mm.
