With this move, the largest Japnese telecom will join other major carriers including Softbank and KDDI to resume sale of new Huawei smartphones.

Back in May, Huawei was blacklisted by the US, citing national security concerns. Following this, the Japnese carrier had stopped taking orders of new Huawei devices.

On August 19, the US extended Huawei’s 90 days reprieve, which allows the company to serve its existing customers for both telecom and smartphone users.
