WhatsApp 2.23.12.15 brings new button design

WhatsApp has released a new version 2.23.12.15 under the beta test for Android users, which brings a new change in the “New” floating action button on the bottom.

According to the information, WhatsApp has planned to introduce a new redesigned floating action button on the bottom right corner. The floating button is now has changed the background shape. Specifically, the button background is squared with round corners on all four sides.

Also, the button is following the Material Design 3 guidelines, which are suggested by the + icon inside. It’s reported that similar changes have been made for other features including buttons for call and status tabs.

WhatsApp version 2.23.12.15 is under testing and it will only appear for wider users with a stable release. This may take some time as it requires full verification of all features onboard.
