Huawei Mate 50E Mate 50 Pro

Huawei Mate 50, and Mate 50 Pro counts as the best flagship in the market, while Mate 50E also serves as the progressive device among consumers. But it’s time to know how the budget-friendly phone differs from the other giant Mate 50 models.

In September, Huawei has unveiled the dynamic Mate 50 series into the real world. The series included the standard model, the Mate 50 Pro variant, RS Porsche Edition, and the cheaper version – Huawei Mate 50E.

All four member of the Mate 50 lineup offers excellent features and characteristics to their users. These features are so exciting that often it becomes a tough choice for consumers to select any of the Mate 50 handsets.

Therefore, it’s an interesting comparison between the Huawei Mate 50E and the other high-end members of the Mate 50 series. These differences will indicate how the cheaper version is special from the other Mate 50 phones.

Huawei Mate 50E vs Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro

1. Display

Huawei Mate 50E features a 6.7-inch straight OLED panel that offers a crystal-clear and transparent look with impressive picture quality. Besides, the device flourishes a 90Hz refresh rate, and 300Hz touch sampling and supports 2D Face verification functions.

Further, it is designed with rounded corners and exhibits a symmetrical layout with a Paris stud design. The overall device looks quite elegant while holding in hand and appears with a smooth glassy finish at the backend.

While the standard Mate 50 appears with the same measurements, the Mate 50 Pro sports a 6.74-inch display. It introduces the notch style (similar to Mate 20 Pro), an in-built 3D lighting sensor, and now also features mask unlocking.

Although, all Mate 50 models are similar in terms of 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and eye protection. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Mate 50E will equally enhance the visual experience for users just like other Mate 50 devices.

2. Camera Hood

Another lacking factor is the optical framework. Instead of a triple-cam structure, the Huawei Mate 50E contains dual lenses at the rear side. This includes a 50 MP super optical camera, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle.

On the front side, you will find a mini 13MP cam at the center of the device’s head. Though the lenses are fewer in number, there is no compromise with the photography experience. Mate 50E has various modes that can enhance your images to the next level.

And let’s not forget about the first-ever XMAGE imaging technology that uplifts the entire image-taking mechanism. Both Mate 50 and Mate 50E does not have the OIS function. Yet they promise to provide such outcomes that you would have never seen before.

3. Power and Performance

In both power and performance, Mate 50E provides good enough services. The phone equips the Snapdragon 778G 6nm process chipset that boosts the entire functioning of the system. On the flip side, it packs a 4460mAh and reflects a 66W fast charging (wired).

However, Mate 50E does not facilitate wireless charging. Meanwhile, Mate 50 and Mate 50 Pro are baked with the Snapdragon 8+ processor and supports wireless charging. But that doesn’t show Mate 50E as an inferior model.

Moreover, Mate 50E also carries the HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system and thus, there would be no shortage of efficiency and responsiveness in the system.

The most significant factor of the Mate 50E is, it offers many of the Mate 50 features at an affordable range. Hence, you don’t need to run across huge devices to experience outstanding features.

Though the phone does not have satellite connectivity and some other worthy elements. But we hope that Huawei will soon facilitate the Mate 50E phone with such services.
