Turkcell, a Turkish telecoms firm, has signed an agreement with Huawei to use Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) ecosystem to offer to its customers.

Huawei Turkey CBG country manager Seth Wang along with Turkcell General Manager Murat Erkan confirmed this partnership at the Mobile Ecosystem Strategic Cooperation press conference organized in Turkey, reports NTV.

Turkcell also aims to sell 1 million phones with Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) applications. As part of this collaboration, the telecom has started HMS integration to nearly 30 application for smartphones that will be available in stores and online channels at the beginning of April.

Back in May last year, Huawei was prohibited to work with Google and Huawei Mate 30 Pro launched as the first phone to launch without Google Mobile Services (GMS).

In absence of GMS, Huawei equipped Mate 30 Pro with HMS and its AppGallery as an alternative to Google Play Store.

Huawei Mobile Services 4.0 brings Huawei Mobile Services Core (HMS Core), providing basic services, such as Map, Location, and Security features for apps on your device.

Huawei Mobile Services incorporates with Huawei Mobile Services Core libraries that aim to deliver the alternatives of GMS and libraries for HMS developers.
