Today, Will Huawei announce new EMUI for global smartphones?

Huawei is about to launch a bunch of new products for global consumers including the MatePad Pro 11 with HarmonyOS 3.0. As the company instantiates a new range of products, we are also expecting to get insights into the next major EMUI software update for global smartphones.

So, what is the possibility of a new version of EMUI for global smartphones? Well, we think, Huawei will pass today because the Chinese tech maker may only focus on the device launch and HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system.

Yes, the current shift of focus will be the new HarmonyOS version and new tablets, notebooks, and wearables. These products will not only be revealed to Chinese consumers but also to the global markets. Some of these including the MatePad Pro 11 will go first on pre-booking in markets such as Germany.

As for now, Huawei is expanding EMUI 12 for the eligible smartphone, and for the records, the company has already completed this rollout for well-known flagships and mid-range models including Mate 40 Pro, Mate 30 Pro, and P40 series. On the other hand, a device such as Mate 20 and P30 series has also been adapted with EMUI 12.

Still, the early devices have long been running EMUI 12 and they want the company to bring new EMUI 13. On the other side, Huawei has not revealed any sign of launching the HarmonyOS operation system for global devices.

Furthermore, Huawei has remained mute on the next EMUI version, as there’s no official information on when it will actually launch. Meanwhile, one thing to note is that the phone maker announced EMUI 12 around last October. So, we could expect something similar to happen in the case of EMUI 13.

Despite these things and facts, we’re still waiting to see something new for the global Huawei consumers. However, we are still unaware of what the company would do on this matter. But we’ll keep you posted on further updates.
