Standard Huawei P50 enters global market

Today, Huawei launched the standard P50 smartphone in the global market. According to the information, the phone has been marketed for a month on the official Huawei social media channels and now the company has finally released this device in different places starting UAE.

As per the listing, Huawei P50 comes is priced at AED 2799 (721 Euros and 762 USD). People who want to purchase this phone will get it in a Gold color option coupled with an 8GB+256GB of memory combination.

Last year, Huawei unveiled the Huawei P50 series in China which comes with a brand new camera system. Following the launch, the Chinese tech maker only released P50 Pro in the Chinese market, and the standard version was saved for later on.

Later in 2021, Huawei started selling the standard Huawei P50 in the Chinese market that comes solely with Qualcomm chipset. Earlier this year, Huawei launched P50 Pro for global consumers and now the phone maker has unveiled the standard P50.

Huawei P50 Specifications:

Huawei P50 sports a 6.5-inch display with an OLED panel and up to 90Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 2700 x 1224 pixels resolution, and 458 PPI. The combination of these display specs makes this phone provide you mesmerizing viewing experience with that flat panel consisting of a center-top hole-punch cutout.

The phone is powered by Snapdragon 888 4G chipset with Octa-core architecture consisting of Octa-core, 1 x Cortex-X1 at 2.84 GHz + 3 x Cortex-A78 at 2.42 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz. The chipset boast graphics from Adreno 660 GPU. ON the other side, you’ll get 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Similar to the Pro model, the standard Huawei P50 for global consumers will boast high-quality photography powered by a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50 MP True-Chroma Camera (Color, f/1.8 aperture), 13 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and 12 MP Telephoto Camera (f/3.4 aperture, OIS), supports AF.

On the flip side, you’ll get a 13MP selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture. In terms of battery life, the phone packs a 4100mAh battery that could recharge with a super-fast 66W fast charger. As compared to its Chinese version, the phone runs EMUI 12 software instead of the HarmonyOS operating system.
