Huawei is pushing the stable HarmonyOS 4 software update for the second batch of beta testers. With this stable release, Huawei is concluding the test circle, which started with closed, then public rollout.

After the launch on August 4th, Huawei announced a list of 35 devices for the second batch of HarmonyOS 4 beta test. Unlike the first batch, these devices began their journey with closed testing. It means users will have to apply for beta activity on limited test slots.

You should know that this stable HarmonyOS 4 upgrade comes for both the public and devices running the HarmonyOS 3 software version. The package for first-time download size could be around or over 5GB and beta testers may fetch it with a reduced downloadable OTA package.
