Stable HarmonyOS 3 starts to rolling out for 21 Huawei devices

Huawei began to rollout stable HarmonyOS 3 software for 21 devices including Huawei P50 series, Mate 40 series, foldable phones as well as MatePad Pro 12.6 tablet. This software release was announced earlier this month. This software update is initiated for both HarmonyOS 2 and existing HarmonyOS 2 beta testers.

After its launch in July, Huawei began HarmonyOS 3 closed beta testing for below mentioned smartphones and tablet devices. After months of testing, the company moved this testing phase to public and now it’s in stable mode.

According to information, Huawei is upgrading these 21 models with HarmonyOS 3 features. These devices will be improved with new smart large folders, better accessibility, and new widget management with stack and grouping options. Meanwhile, the company has also optimized navigation and animations.

Other than, these, the company has brought in new security and privacy features that are better than HarmonyOS 2 operating system. Super Device is now supporting more platforms with improved connectivity.

Huawei devices could install the latest HarmonyOS 3 software update using the settings, navigate to System & updates, from here tap on Software updates, and from here navigate to the blue button ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’ to fetch the new firmware version. Once fetched, you can download and proceed to install the latest software package.

However, you can take a few precautions such as making a backup of important files, charging up sufficient battery level, and maintaining internal memory to store the downloaded package.
