Yes, the update is related to the Chinese version of the Mate 50 series, as Huawei has launched this phone in the global market with EMUI 13. This EMUI version is quite similar to the HarmonyOS 3 because both shares most of their features.

According to the information, the Huawei Mate 50 series is getting HarmonyOS with an update package size of 364 megabytes. However, the update is rolling out in batches but brings important improvements for this flagship lineup.
