Last October, Huawei filed a design patent at European Union intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), which was published in January 2021. This patent has a unique designed smartphone with a brand new camera system.

In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a plenty of renders of Huawei P50 and P50 Pro coming from well new tipster Onleaks. The most interesting part that reminded us that the Huawei P50 design was already patent by the company in January and it’s the same as the one that we’ve talked above.

The patent seems to be for the standard Huawei P50 and sports a large vertical cylindrical shape consisting of two circle shapes with two cameras on each. The camera system also has an LED light.

On the front side, the phone display offers a center punch hole to the house the selfie camera. The right side of the phone includes volume and power buttons. Talking about the bottom design, it has a USB Type-C port.

These specs perfectly matches the same parameter revealed in the patent. So, this patent shows that Huawei can make any design possible and bring it among consumers.
