On October 15, 2020, Huawei has filled the patent for a new quad-camera design at EUIPO (Europen Union Intellectual Property Office), which is now certified and published publically.

The patent images show a new smartphone with a brand new camera system consisting of a large vertical cylindrical shape including two circle shapes with two cameras on each. The camera system also has an LED light.

On the front side, the phone display offers a center punch hole to the house the selfie camera. The right side of the phone includes volume and power buttons. Talking about the bottom design, it has a USB Type-C port.

Aside from this, no other information disclosed from this patent image but the design looks amazing and there is much possibility that the upcoming smartphones may come with this patent design.

Last December, Huawei has launched the Nova 8 series that comes with a rear quad-camera system with an oval design, and the first camera lens is placed round shape module and the rest three positioned below the first lens with an LED flashlight.

Following the Nova 8 series camera setup, we can expect that the new patent is a modified version of this existing quad-camera system and may come in mid-range smartphones in the future.
