Smart Charge and May 2020 security update rolling out for Honor 9X in Europe

Honor is pushing a new software update for the users of Honor 9X in Europe, this update brings the new Smart Charge feature that helps to prevent battery aging and integrates May security patches.

Last month, Honor 9X received April security patches along with Huawei Assistant, providing smart reminders, personalized news, and other content relevant to you.

Smart Charge: Preserve battery health by adapting to your charging routine. Charging may be paused to delay charging your device to 100% until needed.

Security: Integrates Android security patches released in May 2020 for improved system security.

MAY SECURITY DETAILS:

The May 2020 security update brings Android patches from Huawei and Google, fixing different levels of exploits and issues within Huawei phones including 2 critical and 22 high and 2 Medium levels of CVEs.

VERSION:

This latest update for Honor 9X Pro comes EMUI version 10.0.0.208, upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.194.
