September 2021 update for Huawei Band 6 Pro brings optimizations

Huawei Band 6 Pro is the latest generation smart band launched alongside the Huawei P50 series. It comes with several features such as blood oxygen monitoring, heart rate sensor, TruRelax Stress reading, and several other health-related features.

According to the latest information, Huawei has begun rolling out September 2021 update for Huawei Band 6 Pro. The firmware carries version 11.1.1.104 and it has begun rolling out in batches in China.

As per the changelog, this update brings optimizations in the body temperature measurement function and improves the accuracy of detection. It also optimizes the display effects of some UI. In addition, this firmware update improves the overall stability of the device for a better user experience.

The information suggests that this software update is rolling out in a staged manner and will reach all the users within 5 days. If you haven’t received the update notification then it will soon appear on your connected device.

How to check for updates

To check for new software update on your Huawei Band 6 Pro, connect the band to your smartphone using the Huawei Health app. Then tap Devices and click the device name. Now select the Firmware update and then follow on-screen instructions.

Along with the Band 6 Pro, Huawei Children’s Watch 4 Pro is getting a new software update that brings a long list of features, in addition to some optimizations. This firmware bears version 11.1.0.59.
