Huawei Watch Ultimate

Earlier this month, Huawei released a new software update for the Watch Ultimate and the company is now releasing a second firmware for this super tough smartwatch.

Interstingly, the update doesn’t bring any additional changes to the smartwatch. However, it only changes the firmware version to 3.0.0.109 from 3.0.0.106 and the package size is reduced to 73.41 megabytes from that giant size.

To update this smartwatch, please follow the instructions given below.

You can download the second software update for Huawei Watch Ultimate with the Huawei Health app. Open the app, and then select the connected device. Followed by the firmware update. You should note that there are certain precautions that you need to follow in order to get a better user experience.

Huawei Watch Ultimate Changelog:

  • Added Exploration mode which allows you to mark places automatically and manually mark points of interest, and support two return route features in addition to many other open area features. This mod also allows you to create custom images and dynamic videos from your discovery.
  • Added support for technical diving and Scuba diving modes, as well as gas mixtures and multiple cylinders. Different categories of reminders/alerts can help you stay safe underwater.
  • Added apnea training and apnea test to diving tools. You can customize apnea training courses to monitor your SpO2 and heart rate in real-time.
  • Added incoming call notifications for WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, and Instagram.

[Optimizations]

  • Added Connect new phone option to Bluetooth menu in Settings.

Changes internally?

It seems like a hotfix software update, which may have been ensuring that all of these features are settled accurately. It’s also possible that this could be a second rollout for the rest of the functionalities that weren’t installed in the first build.

Only Huawei Watch Ultimate users can tell about the difference. We wish them a happy software installation.
