Qualcomm is preparing to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets. Meanwhile, some eager analysts have gathered tweaks about one more product. Yes, the latest info suggests that the Snapdragon 7+ processor is also coming.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets are yet to release. There is still a lot to explore in the newly-arriving product. However, it looks Qualcomm will bless the developers with not only one but two high-end processors, by the end of this year.
The report of the intelligent Weibo blogger @FactoryDirectorShiGuan suggests that Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ processor will soon take place in the real world.
The reason behind this sudden development could be the incapability of the 7 Gen 1 processor. The tipster mentions that Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset is not strong enough for efficient performance. Hence, the company has decided to launch its successor in the field.
Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1: Better than previous chipsets
Accordingly, the chip manufacturer has begun the testing procedure for the 7+ Gen 1 processor. It carries the model number SM7475. Further, the chip will exhibit a tri-cluster combination (1 super high-performance core + 3 high-performance cores + 4 high-efficiency cores).
Unlike the 7 Gen 1 chipset, this cluster combination is completely different. Though the internal tugs are not clear at the moment. But there are high chances that we could find Cortex-X3 and Cortex-A715 cores working in the 7+ Gen 1 processor.
Apart from this, the company will adopt operating frequencies of 2.4GHz for both the main core and the performance core. Whereas, the four efficiency cores will attain a frequency of 1.8GHz. Moreover, just like the Snapdragon 8+, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 could also use the same TSMC 4nm processing.
There are chances that we could find the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and 7+ Gen 1 processor sharing the same stage. But for confirmation, we still require the words of Qualcomm on this matter.

Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipsets use next-generation Kryo CPU architecture. It has an Adreno GPU that delivers 20% faster graphics rendering for HDR gaming. Besides, it produces 4K HDR images with high contrast and sharpness. It also supports Snapdragon Sound Technology and can give immersive audio and visual experience.
