Qualcomm, Huawei and Ericsson ranked top three in global wireless Technology Patent

IPRdaily, a leading global intellectual property (IP) technology media firm has published a report on global wireless communication technology invention patents including Qualcomm, Huawei, and Ericsson in the top three.

According to the report, the top 100 manufacturers and institutions are ranked according to the number of wireless network communication invention patents applied for and published (combined with the application number).

The list shows that Qualcomm on the top spot with 26944 invention patents. Huawei ranked second with 20136 invention patents and Ericsson comes third with 11500 invention patents.

Samsung acquired the fourth spot with a difference of 11496 patents. In addition, OPPO, Vivo, ZTE, and Xiaomi are also among the top ten, with a total of 36 Chinese companies.
