Oldest Huawei flagship phones prepares for HarmonyOS 3
The oldest Huawei flagship phones are now preparing to install HarmonyOS 3 operating system and these will bring a new kind of user experience for the device owners.
Huawei has announced that our beloved and oldest flagship phones including P20 and Mate 10 series are next in line to get HarmonyOS 3 onboard. Huawei has not announced an exact date for the beta enrollment but we could expect this to happen later this month or in March.

Huawei P20 series and Mate 10 model runs HarmonyOS 2 software and it’s the newest addition that is causing joy for these smartphone owners.
Huawei Mate 10 lineup was launched in 2017 and the P20 series in 2018, these two devices received EMUI 9, EMUI 10, EMUI 11, and EMUI 12 in the global market. On the other hand, Huawei P20 and Mate 10 devices has successfully completed HarmonyOS 2 installation last year in China.
After these generations of upgrades, Huawei P20 and Mate 10 devices are now capable of running the latest HarmonyOS.
HarmonyOS 3 Features:
HarmonyOS 3 is already distributed for top flagship devices – P50, Mate 40, P40, and Mate 30 series and there are still more devices making their way toward this new HarmonyOS world.
This new software comes with smart folders, an upgrade over large folders, that allows you to rearrange the layout into four different sizes. Huawei has also improved the super device feature that includes efficiency and more platform support. There will be new network-sharing capabilities between smartphones and tablets.
More into the interface, Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series will be able to use stack and group widgets. There are various new service widgets added to the system. You know Huawei phone users could now experience better home screen management with smart layout features, which the phone users will like the most.
