Huawei is sending a significant update to the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet users which installs the all-new GoPaint app. At the same time, the company has integrated some useful features and improvements that will amplify the device experience for owners.

Remember, the Chinese OEM recently unveiled a new MatePad Pro 13.2 Roland Purple variant with a pre-install GoPaint app? Now the company is serving this treatment to other MatePad Pro 13.2 color versions via the latest firmware.

The information reveals that Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 is getting the new GoPaint app with the HarmonyOS update 4.2.0.210/211. Both builds contain the same changelog and are making their way to China for the following adaptable tablet units:

  • MatePad Pro 13.2 (PCE-W30)
  • MatePad Pro 13.2 (PCE-W40)
  • MatePad Pro 13.2 (PCE-AL30)
  • MatePad Pro 13.2 Collector’s Edition (PCE-AL40)

If you own any of the above-listed models running on the baseline version 4.2.0.208, then you are eligible to install the respective firmware and enjoy its offerings.

The changelog highlights some interesting changes for the MatePad Pro 13.2 models. The list begins with the GoPaint app and further counts air gestures, enhancements for some apps, and the April 2024 security patch. Check the changelog below.

  • Some application supports a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz on the screen with optimized user experience in some conditions.
  • Optimizes the user experience of the device system.

Security

  • Incorporates the April 2024 security patch to enhance the system security.

Note: The GoPaint app is only available to tablets running on HarmonyOS 4.2. Also, the 4.2.0.210 belongs to PCE-W40/PCE-W30 models while the 4.2.0.211 is for PCE-AL40/PCE-AL30 models.
