New System optimization released for Huawei Mate 40 smartphone users

Last October, Huawei debuted its annual flagship lineup, Huawei Mate 40 with the impressive and latest hardware and software technology. The Mate 40 standard variant brings a waterfall display with curved edges, triple camera ring design, EMUI 11, Kirin 9000 processor, and more.

Now, Huawei has started sending a new software update for Mate 40. Users can identify update with EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.165 SP2, that brings optimization for the video shooting effects to provide an improved user experience.

Last week, Huawei brought improvements for a display and system that improves system stability, enhances user experience, and boosts the overall device performance.

On the other hand, it was reported, Huawei could launch one more model in Mate 40 series, Mate 40E, which is expected to release between March to April. This smartphone can identify similarly to Mate 40 standard variant and the major change noted in the processor.

New Version: Huawei Mate 40 users grabbing EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.165 SP2 upgraded from 11.0.0.165 SP1.

HOW TO CHECK FOR NEW UPDATE:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
