Huawei Mate 40E with Kirin 990E could launch soon

In October 2020, along with the Huawei Mate 40 series, Huawei revealed the new variant of pre-gen flagship Mate 30, Mate 30E. This phone’s specifications are very much similar to the  Mate 30 Pro.

But, the notable differences are Mate 30E was equipped with a new 5G processor Kirin 990E  (2 x Cortex-A76 Based 2.86 GHz + 2 x Cortex-A76 Based 2.36 GHz + 4 x Cortex-A55 1.95 GHz) and comes pre-installed with EMUI 11.

Recently, a Weibo tipster – Peng-Peng Jun discloses that Huawei is preparing to launch a new model in the Mate 40 series named Mate 40E. As per tipster, this smartphone may likely arrive between March to April.

Leak suggests that the upcoming Huawei Mate 40E will comes with the same design as Huawei Mate 40 standard variant. It is also speculated that it could be powered by Kirin 990E  7nm processor as well as comes with a Leica three-lens camera module.
