New EMUI update for Huawei Mate 30 5G and 30 Pro 5G installs improvements for network, camera, and calling

Earlier this month, Huawei Mate 30 series including both 4G and 5G variants received a new EMUI 10 version upgrade and the company now pushing new optimizations exclusive to the 5G versions in China.

The latest EMUI update will set 5G mode on default when users choose default network mode on China Telecom and China Unicom. However, users can still change the network mode manually. In addition, this update also optimizes the camera and calling experience. (Check the full changelog below).

Huawei Mate 30 (5G) and Mate 30 Pro (5G) series receiving this update with EMUI version 10.0.0.156patch01 and version 10.0.0.158.

Connection:
Sets China Telecom and China Unicom on the default network mode selection can be changed manually.

Camera:
Optimizes camera stability.

Call:
Optimizes the call experience for some scenarios.
