Latest EMUI update brings fixes to camera and fingerprint unlock issues on Huawei Mate 30 and 30 Pro

A few days ago, Huawei Mate 30 series 5G received the latest update and the company now pushing new fixes and optimizations to the 4G and 5G versions of this flagship.

The latest EMUI update improves camera performance and also fixes some issues with camera and fingerprint unlock. (Check the full changelog below).

We’ve confirmed that this update is rolling out in China for both 4G and 5G versions and outside where this smartphone is launched (only 4G).

Huawei Mate 30, Mate 30 Pro, Mate 30 (5G) and Mate 30 Pro (5G) series receiving this update with EMUI version 10.0.0.156.

Note: EMUI version and size may vary depending on the region.

If you want to check for the update manually you can do this by following the instruction below:

Go to Settings > System & updates > Software update. If an update is available, it’ll ask if you want to download it.

Or Go to HiCare app > tap on Update > Check for Updates.

Changelog:

Camera:
Improves photo quality for more natural, authentic colors.
Fixes an issue where video recordings would jitter in certain situations.

Fingerprint:
This update improves camera performance and also fixes some issues with camera and fingerprint unlock.

Apps:
Fixes an issue where some third-party apps would freeze or fail to respond unexpectedly improving system stability.
