MediaTek has ultimately unveiled the Dimensity 9000+ processor for the 5G capable flagship models. This is another high-end invention in the field of Dimensity that is again making its way to the 5G products to enhance the performance of the device.

According to the information, MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ has obtained some of the technical measures from the predecessor Dimensity 9000 chip. Consequently, these measure helps in boosting the power efficiency and functioning of the hardware.

MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ Build Up

The new chipset is standing on the 4nm process of TSMC and Armv9 architecture. It comprises an octa-core CPU framework with 1 Arm Cortex-X2 super core (frequency = 3.2GHz), 3 Arm Cortex-A710 large cores, and 4 Arm Cortex-A510 energy efficiency cores that have improved performance by 5%. Further, it supports a ten-core Mali G710 GPU with an increase in the performance grade by 10%.

Additionally, the processor fulfills the demand for high bandwidth in the market. It carries an LPDDR5X memory with 8MB CPU L3 cache and 6MB system cache. Moreover, it incorporates the 5th-gen AI processor APU590 to offer AI computing power for numerous applications with energy efficiency.

Key Features of Dimensity 9000+

Media Tek Imaggiq 790 imaging technology:

The super-tech SoC equips an 18-bit HDR-ISP image processor that supports 320 million pixel cameras. Besides, it is capable to capture 18-bit HDR video with three lenses of the handset at the same time. It features AI noise reduction for 4K HDR video, and low-light shooting.

A new generation of 5G modem:

Dimensity 9000+ consists of a 5G modem that supports Sub-6GHz 5G full-band high-speed network and 3CC three-carrier aggregation (300MHz). As a result, the theoretical downlink rate reaches to 7Gbps and supports R16 super uplink. Further, it has the multi-standard dual-SIM tech that holds 5G and 4G combinations. With the help of MediaTek 5G UltraSave 2.0 tech, it reduces power consumption effectively.

MediaTek MiraVision 790 display tech:

A WQHD+ resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate display is another significant feature of the chip. It further adds FHD+ resolution and 180Hz refresh rate display with MediaTek Intelligent Display Sync 2.0 technology. Thereafter, 4K60 HDR10+ video Wi-Fi wireless projection also takes place in the chipset.

Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 addition:

It adds new-generation connectivity and provides a seamless connection experience to smartphone users.

According to the information, we can see the new processor, equipped in smartphones form the third quarter.
