March 2021 security update rolling out for Huawei Enjoy 10 smartphone

A few days ago, Huawei has kicked off a security patch released in March 2021 co-powered by the Android security bulletin for some models of China-exclusive Enjoy series smartphones for improved system security.

Now, one of the smartphones from Enjoy lineup, Huawei Enjoy 10 has now begun to receive this security improvement with a new EMUI update. This security update fixes different levels of exploits and issues as well as resolves privacy issues.

March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

To recall, Huawei has debuted this smartphone initially with EMUI 9.1 and still working with the same EMUI version. The company doesn’t deliver any further major updates to Enjoy 10 but continuously releasing security improvements.

What’s New in this update:

New Version: Huawei Enjoy 10 smartphone users getting EMUI 9.1 version 9.1.1.198 upgrading from 9.1.1.197.

Changelog: Integrates the Android security patch released in March 2021.

HOW TO UPDATE:

Download via Settings:

  • Open Settings
  • Click on the System
  • Open Software update
  • Tap on Check for updates option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device

Download via Support app:

  • Open the Support app on your device
  • Go to the Service tab
  • Click on the update button
  • Tap on Check for update option
  • If an update is available, click on Download and install
  • After installation Reboot the device
