Huawei will not stop investment in innovation: Rotating Chairman

During the 19th Huawei Global Analyst Conference in Shenzen, Huawei’s current rotating chairman – Ken Hu, mentioned some of the difficulties regarding Huawei and shared the company’s future strategies in work and business.

Despite some issues in business, the Huawei chief remained looking in the right direction and said that the Chinees tech maker will continue to boost investment in innovation to build new products and enhance and accelerate new technologies.

Hu mentioned that Huawei has recently recruited talented young people. He said that it is to use the world-renowned issue to get top-class talents.

“Innovation, first of all, is guaranteed by leading talents and a lot of investment.”

The Huawei chief promised that no matter how difficult it is, Huawei’s investment in innovation will not decrease and will continue to operate and ramp up depending on the requirement of the company’s development.

Hu also emphasized facing the future, Huawei is taking active business measures to continuously enhance industrial resilience and survive with quality.

“Only continuous innovation can bring a steady stream of development momentum and create value for customers and society.”

Ban:

In May 2019, Huawei has been added to the U.S. entity list, which has affected the firm’s capability to acquire the required components to build new devices. The effect of this prohibition is reflected in the product of new products. These also result in a big slump in Huawei’s overall business portfolio but the company is seeking an altering supply chain to get over the current difficulties.

Ken Hu:

Last month, Huawei confirmed to appoint Mr. Ken Hu as the new Rotating and Acting Chairman of Huawei from April 1, 2022, to September 30, 2022. During this tenure, Ken Hu will be responsible for the company’s growth while being in the top position and head of the board of Directors and its Executive Committee.
