Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro grabs January 2023 update

Huawei is rolling out a new January 2023 update for the Watch GT 2 Pro smartwatch in the global market. The company is sending this new upgrade in order to improve the smartwatch’s performance for the users.
According to the changelog details coming from Huaweiblog, Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro is receiving the January 2023 software update with build version 11.0.11.1 and the update package size of 75.32 megabytes.
This update seems important as it brings improvements to the system’s stability to provide a better user experience. On the flip side, we recommend you get this firmware as soon as it appears on your smartwatch.
If it doesn’t appear automatically, then try to get the build version manually via the Huawei Health app. The instructions are simple, just open the app and tap on the Devices tab in the bottom bar.
Select your connected smartwatch and tap on the Check for updates to check for the latest update available. Do note that the update package download rate depends on the internet speed and will require some time to transfer the package from the smartphone to the smartwatch.
Also, make sure that your smartwatch and smartphone remain in connection while the installation goes on.

Huawei Watch GT 2:
Simultaneously, Huawei is sending this upgrade to the Huawei Watch GT 2 series. While the changes in the changelog are identical to each other. Last month, Huawei also pushed these new optimizations for the Watch GT 2e, which is a good treatment for device users.
The latest firmware is released in batches and may take some time to reach all of the smartwatch users in the global market.

Huawei Mate 50 series gets a new improvements and camera update

Huawei is rolling out new features and system improvements update for the Mate 50 series that include optimizations. It also installs a new security patch for the Chinese models of this flagship.
According to the information, Huawei Mate 50 series users can download this new firmware via HarmonyOS 3.0.0.197. Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design are getting this upgrade in batches. Huawei Mate 50 series is also one of the first phones to get a slot in the HarmonyOS 3.1 wagon but we’re yet to confirm this roadmap.
Aside from these, the latest update for the Huawei Mate 50 series comes with system stability optimizations, network stability improvements, new improvements for the camera and performance, and last but not least, the January 2023 HarmonyOS security patch.
Meanwhile, there are no new updated in the global models of Mate 50 Pro but we’ll keep you posted with further information.

Huawei Nova 7 January 2023 EMUI update is expanding

Huawei is expanding the January 2023 security patch for Nova 7 global version that improves the phone’s capability against potential threats. According to the information, Huawei Nova 7 January 2023 EMUI update comes with version 12.0.0.244 and 233 megabytes. This update is rolling out in batches began to rollout early last month.

Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Nova 9 gets January 2023 EMUI update

While phone users are waiting for a new major version, Huawei Mate Xs 2 is getting January 2023 EMUI security update alongside the precious Huawei Nova 9 smartphone in the global market.
Despite the fact that EMUI 13 has not made its way to us, Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Nova 9 users can download January 2023 security update with EMUI build version 12.0.1.190 and 12.0.1.271 respectively (via Huaweiportal).
Huawei Mate Xs 2 is an exceptional smartphone and it is a second-generation outward folding device that made its way to the global market. On the other side, it provides a new user experience than the predecessor.
The Nova 9 has a unique design and helped Huawei to recover Nova series sales among global consumers supporting a high-quality camera system. It equips 120Hz refresh rate and Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G.
Interestingly, Huawei Mate Xs 2 and Nova 9 launched with pre-installed EMUI 12 software and there are various features that caught our eye. However, it’s been already an entire year since Huawei rolled out a major upgrade. And EMUI 13 is all we’re waiting for.
For now, Huawei has not informed us about the EMUI 13 release date but these two smartphone owners eagerly waiting for a new announcement.
