Huawei Video app is under testing with new features, brings latest content for Chinese consumers

Huawei Video is a high-quality mobile video application that helps users to find and view all of the content like series, films, documentaries, Tencent Video Zone, Youku Zone, Mango Zone, Good Food, and more in China. Aside form its popularity in the mainland, the app is still working on making its place in the global market.

Adding to this, Huawei Video utilizes the technical advantages of Huawei’s platform to provide users the ultimate movie-watching experience with saving data flow, low power consumption, and perfect picture quality.

Now, Huawei has begun public testing of the latest video version, which comes with a list of changes and optimizations. According to the changelog, it added LetTV with enriched content, optimizes Local video playback experience, and much more exciting for consumers in China.

  • Huawei Video public test version 8.7.30.100 with update size of 150.4MB

Changelog:

  • Introduce LeTV movies with richer content. Test content: “Daydreamer”, “Zhiyue Biography”, “Zhen Huan Biography”, “Chu Qiao Biography”, in the search results, Huawei sources are provided by LeTV.
  • Introduce Tianyi Cloud VR videos to enjoy more VR audio-visual feast. Test content location: Homepage-“AI Guest Channel” Tianyi Cloud Test Column.
  • Optimization for Local video playback experience. “My” local video list is newly added to support filtering by file date, resolution, duration, and size.
  • The upper right corner of the column supports displaying multiple text links. Test column: Homepage-“AI Guest” Tianyi Cloud test column; Test column 2: Home page-“Al Guest” 873 test column.
  • Small video support setting whether to play continuously. On the small video play page, click the share button, you can set whether to play continuously or not.
  • Added V Bean reward task: When you turn on PUSH to watch the small video, you will be rewarded V giant
