Huawei Smart Camera Pro: First surveillance camera with HarmonyOS

On January 4, Huawei has officially revealed the new version of the Smart Camera, the Huawei Smart Camera Pro for home surveillance and it’s packed with Huawei’s self-developed operating system.

The Huawei Camera Pro is the first to come with pre-installed HarmonyOS (Hongmeng OS) and brings 2K resolution output, AI smart detection+, 32GB/64GB eMMC storage, HiSilicon chip, 3MP camera, and more.

The video mode of this camera brings the new generation H.265 video encoding, which is more efficient. In terms of the camera, it supports WDR intelligent function that automatically increases the dynamic range to show detailing and PQ face technology improves portrait performance in dim light or blacklight environment.

If we look at its features, the Camera Pro offers AI human detection, crying detection, motion tracker, send messages, face detection, face recognization, multi-camera calling feature, multi-channel screen duplicate feature, and more.

With the help of the multi-camera calling feature users can connect all the camera screens during a video call, which helps you to share the live video in a video call. By using multi-channel same screen mode multiple smart cameras are displayed on a smartphone together to get live surveillance.

In terms of security, the HiLink SDK of Huawei Smart Camera Pro has received the highest security certification in the IoT field, which can ensure camera security and prevent intrusion.

The Smart Camera Pro has a 3-meter extendable power cord that supports flat, wall, and ceiling installations. It also offers 360-degree horizontal rotation and 150-degree vertical rotation.
