Huawei resumes smartphone charger supply for its smartphones

Previously, Huawei has canceled the in-box phone chargers and reduce 200 yuan (30 USD) the price for smartphones launched without chargers. These devices were:

  • Huawei Mate 40
  • Huawei Mate 40 Pro
  • Huawei Mate 40E
  • Huawei Mate X2
  • Huawei Nova 8
  • Huawei Nova 8 Pro

According to the information, Huawei did this because of the shortage of charging IC chips that are required to make fast chargers.

The US-China trade had a huge impact on Huawei. After the company blacklisted by the US, the supply of core components became a huge issue for the Chinese tech giant.

But, Huawei is continuously trying to resolve these issues and keep searching for alternatives, and finally, the company succeeds on the matter of Charger related ICs. As recently, a Weibo tipster – Uncle Watching Mountain, disclosed that Huawei has reopened the supply of chargers for consumer products.

However, the availability of these products on the shelves is there except for the 65-watt laptop charger. On the other hand, the other charger products can be purchased as usual.

Interested buyers can visit the Huawei Mall and check the availability of chargers. To be mentioned that some chargers are resumed on sale, while some of them are still out of stock. So we can expect that Huawei will soon fill all of the products in the listing.
