Hongmeng: Here’s everything you need to know about Huawei’s Operating System

Huawei has registered a name trademark as “Huawei ARK OS” that perfectly matches the company’s naming lineup of Huawei ARK Compiler, which is the company’s self-developed application compiler and system performance booster.

Also, the company has filed this trademark on May 24, 2019 (via AndroidHeadlines), just after 10 days of the public trademark listing of Huawei Hongmeng by China’s Trademark Office of National Intellectual Property Administration. Moreover, it’s submitted in the same categories including ‘Operating System’.

We’ve also reported that Huawei will launch two versions of its operating system one for the domestic market which will be launched later this year and the global version is expected to be launched early in 2020.

So this trademark application for ARK OS could possibly the company’s plan for the global version of its self-developed operating system but yet to officially confirmed by Huawei.
