Huawei Pura 80 Pro crushed Pura 70 Pro in sales by 160% hike

Huawei Pura 80 Pro sales surpassed the Pura 70 Pro by a big margin. A new report highlights how the newly launched flagship has been winning consumers’ hearts over the past weeks due to its super iconic camera and other top-notch parameters.

The company’s 2025 Pura flagship smartphone has reportedly outsold its predecessor by a sales hike of 160%. Interestingly, it’s not the Ultra handset this time.

An analysis shows the Huawei Pura 80 series sales in the past two months, where the Pro model appeared as a shining star. Its shipment has increased by 160% over the previous generation smartphone in the first 65 days.

Now that’s a really big difference. While the Pura 70 was the first series in the Pura brand, the second-gen lineup is gaining more attention due to its tech-pack features.

Besides the Pura 80 Pro, the standard Pura 80 earned a 46% jump over its predecessor in the first 20 days of sale. Meanwhile, the Pro+ and Ultra have received a 30% sales increase over the Pura 70 Pro+/Ultra in the first 65 days.

In the past couple of years, Huawei has formed a solid plan to maintain the sales of its flagship lineups in the consumer market. The company not only launches promotional offers on the existing models but also adds a discount to newly released ones.

Mate 80 – 2nd 2025 flagship!

After the Pura 80, Huawei is working on the Mate 80 series. The device will introduce more amazing technologies than before. From a new chip to a unique cooling fan technology, the company is prepping many things for the upcoming lineup.
