Huawei P70 series could deliver better performance

Huawei P70 series will be one of the most interesting flagships of 2024 and the latest inputs hint that this upcoming lineup could deliver better and improved performance. Perhaps, the credit of this capability could go to the Kirin chipsets.

According to the Weibo tipster @SmartPikachu, the Huawei P70 series has shown quite satisfactory results in terms of performance. Besides, the post reads that other specs like display and optical features are also decent and good enough.

The performance capabilities are mainly related to the type of processor used in the device. Huawei P70 series is in rumors to equip Kirin chips with improved efficiency and more active functioning over the predecessors.

As per the early inputs, the standard Huawei P70 model hearsay to power up with the Kirin 9000s chipset. Meanwhile, the Pro and the Art versions may rely upon the all-new Kirin 9010 processor. Notably, the latter is expected to show up with 3nm process technology.

Huawei Kirin 9000s has recently appeared with the Mate 60 Pro device. It is an octa-core chip based on a 7nm process and has 1 x 2.62GHz + 3 x 2.15GHz + 4 x 1.53GHz architecture along with Maleoon 910 MP4 GPU.

On the other hand, Kirin 9010 went underground in 2020, when the U.S. tech makers banned Huawei from selling and purchasing goods in the foreign market. While the parameters of the respective chip are still in-depth, details hint that the company was developing an octa-core 3nm chipset.

However, it would be worth seeing how far these cores and parameters remain the same.

Camera:

Thus, we could expect a significant boost in the performance capabilities of the Huawei P70 series. Apart from the overall performance, the flagship lineup could excel in the optical features. The company is already working on advanced lens solutions that will turn out these models as camera beasts in the market.
