Huawei P60 Pro gets December 2023 software update amid major upgrade delay
Huawei is rolling out a new software update for the Huawei P60 Pro smartphone in the global market and it comes with the latest security improvements but from December 2023.
The new software update comes at a time when the phone is completing one year of launch among global customers. The wait for the next major update has also increased compared to 2022 and there’s no official news published from Huawei’s side for the time being.
Despite this concern, Huawei keeps on sending new software updates with security improvements for the customers to improve the user experience and enhance device safety.
The December 2023 security patch for Huawei P60 Pro comes with an EMUI 13.0.1.190 software version and a package size of 357 megabytes.
Users can download the new software update via Settings > System & updates > from here tap on the Software updates and proceed with on-screen options.
Huawei P60 Pro features a 6.67-inch LTPO screen with 120Hz adaptive high dynamic refresh rates, high-frequency PWM dimming, and FHD+ resolution. This device has EMUI 13.1 with smoother animations but an upgrade over EMUI 14 and further is still pending.
It has better camera features with a 48MP main camera, 13MP ultra-wide angle, and a 48MP ultra-lighting telephoto camera.
