On March 17, Huawei officially released the Huawei P50E smartphone powered by HarmonyOS 2.0 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 778 processor in China. For further improvements, the company is rolling out the first HarmonyOS software update for Huawei P50E that brings various new functionalities and optimizations.

For your information, the Huawei P50E smartphone’s first update comes with HarmonyOS build number 2.0.1.130 (SP1C00E130R2P3). However, this update arrives with a massive download package size of 1.08 Gigabytes.

In addition to this, the latest HM OS update for P50E includes two update packages. Among them, the first package added a streamer shutter mode to the camera to capture the trajectory of light and take photos with special lights as well as shadow effects.

While the second update package contains the optimizations for system stability for better and smoother performance. The corresponding device owners can get the newest update by following the update instruction added at the end of the post.
