Huawei P50 is currently preparing for the launch event but the Chinese tech giant seems to be waiting to deliver a better version of this flagship to the consumers. To make this possible, the report reveals that the Huawei P50 will equip with massive hardware and software capabilities compared to its predecessor.

As previously, we’ve also seen a bunch of renders that has revealed most of the design aspects of the P50 and P50 Pro models. Yet, the anticipation still continues to rumble ourselves.

Regarding the Huawei P50, a tipster has shared some of the images of a Huawei device dubbed as a prototype of the upcoming Huawei P series lineup. Since it’s a prototype, we can expect any big changes to see from it but there’s always something to explore. So, let’s move right into it.

Front:

The front side of the device comes with a wide waterfall display that has big curved edges on the left and right sides. The display has a pill shape wide hole punch similar to the Huawei Mate 40 Pro and it looks very good. Furthermore, the display also has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Back:

The back is more interesting because of its design, the prototype model shows the phone featuring a camera system on the top left corner with a round shape just like the Mate 40 but it’s a weird camera setup with four lenses a swell as a reflective ring around.

The phone has Leica branding along with a LED flash. On the left side, it has a power button but it doesn’t seem to include a volume rocker. Meanwhile, the rear panel is glossy and also features curves on all sides.

Huawei P50 original render:

Compared to this, the previous CAD renders show that Huawei P50 will adopt a new center hole punch design on the front and a large pill-type vertical camera bump on the rear with to round shape placed inside the camera system.

As of now, Huawei has not cleared its stances about the launch date but the company may delay the launch of Huawei P50 until June this year to pack it with HarmonyOS software system.
