Huawei P50 Pro global user gets October 2023 update

Huawei started to roll out the October 2023 software update for the global models of Huawei P50 Pro smartphones. This flagship device was the first to grab EMUI 13 as a major software release.

Huawei P50 Pro October 2023 update is released in batches with EMUI version 13.0.0.256 and a package size of 383 megabytes. Meanwhile, some of the users are reportedly stuck on the past firmware version and not receiving further software releases.

We have no information about the exact reasons for this issue but we suggest all of the smartphone owners check for new firmware via HiSuite and My Huawei application.

You can download the latest software update on your Huawei P50 Pro smartphone with the following instructions:

• Open Settings
• From here open the System & updates
• Now tap on Software update
• CHECK FOR UPDATE

You will be notified with update information if an upgrade is available.
